" RADHYA ~ THE KRISHNA DIWANI "
Now what to tell about love! , All of you must have experienced its sour, sweet taste at some point of life. Love for humans is only a relationship between two human beings, but what if the sacred relationship of love is between a devotee and God?
This story is also of a devotee who was crazy for her Kanha.
She used to tell Kanha about her smallest thing, she loves to cook for him, talk with him… She used to enjoy a lot in all these things.
She loves Krishna as her father, brother, friend, husband, son. Sometimes she would give mother's love… Sometimes she would become a sister and tie the rakhi. But the most loving relationship she felt was friendship because the basis of all these relationships was love , and the basis of love was friendship, friendship of the soul with heart.
OH!!! , I forgot to tell you the name of that Krishna Divani......!! Her name was Radhya…
I met her for the first time in my school, I found her a bit different from the rest; There were two reasons for this, first her bizarre talks and second, the amazing divine power of her face. She was new to our school, she took admission in class 11th standard . But after meeting her, it felt as if I knew her for a long time…. She was very sweet, she looked absolutely beautiful.
Her words were like nectar, she used to tell me many things related to Krishna. Because of her only I came to know Krishna !! Her words were so sweet as if she could cultivate the love of Krishna in a barren land of anyone 's heart. Words will become short in explaining her devotion ....
Once all of us girls were standing in a circle, we were having a discussion about crush (crush - who likes which boy),
everyone took the name of someone, but Radhya did not tell anything, when we asked her a lot, then she said -
"You will not understand !! .. will laugh at me"
When we started asking her many times then at last she agreed to tell and she said in shy tone - "Krishna !!"
Hearing Radhya's answer, a friend of mine asked—
"Does he study in our school?"
Radhya shook her head for no and said
"Bansi Bajaiya Krishna"(the one who plays the flute)
Hearing this, all of my friends started teasing Radhya by calling her 'Jogan Meera'.
Radhya said looking at them with floating eyes - "That's why you told you first of all that you people cannot understand me and my love !!"
I don't know why I felt so bad for Radhya at that time, there was truth in her eyes, I could feel true love .
I fastly ran to Radhya, and said to her --------- "
Radhya..!! Why are you getting sad, leave these people; see I have come to know Krishna because of you, and I don't feel strange seeing your love " I told her .
Hearing this, Radhaya's tears welled up, and she said ......
"No.... I love him like one lover love his other lover, the relationship between us is more than devotion....!
I don't know why people don't understand my love and ask
me proof that where is your kanha ??...!!!
Saying this , Radhya left with tears from there and that Krishna lover forced me to think about what is true love .....
Once I joked with Radhya while talking -
"Can your Krishna give you everything that one lover gives to his lover?...!!!
I Question To Her as a joke, But she became Serious after Listening To It,
And she Said -
"he Can Give Me More Than That And Gives also!! ....... Nowdays, two Lover only want relationship OF TWO bodies, Today They date one and tomorrow they love other!!
People love here as long as the body lives that's it
now you tell me that is love so weak that it will be destroyed along with the body ?? !!
Is the limit of love only untill the body lives? !! "
Her questions
seemed like arrows on my heart… I felt as if she had told me the essence of love…
I was speechless bowed my head down.
Then she came to me and said with smile , "Krishna's relationship is beyond the body .... He used to love me even before I was born in this body and will love me after this body also ...
Body is not the limit of love; meaning of love is not between the body but with the soul .... And Krishna fulfills this relationship perfectly ... Now you tell me, what more does a lover want than that? !! "
Hearing her, my love for Krishna woke up even more and I hug Radhya, I felt as if I had found the real peace !!
Next year We both passed class 12th with good marks and after that I moved with my family in another city, unfortunately I lost my phone somewhere and all the numbers also… later I got a new phone but my and Radhya's friendship with the old mobile was also lost !! |
Even though I was far away from Radhya, but I used to remember her words, I had
acquired some of her qualities too,
by staying with her .
It was Kanha's grace that after 8 years, I had the opportunity to go back to my old city on the pretext of marriage of a relative. In these 8 years I used to remember Radhya and her words every day because till date I had not found anyone like her and in future nor I will meet ...because she was unique.
I was very happy because I was getting a chance to meet Radhya again, for that I had brought Laddu Gopal as a gift,
and there was also a question in my mind whether Radhya would still be that crazy Krishna lover or would have changed over time. .....
so I went out to meet Radhya as I went there I found ..........
Her house had changed a lot, had built like a bungalow from a small house . Radhya's family members were very modern , I still remember once Radhya told me that her family don't want her to be more religious, she wanted Radhya to do a good job and live a lavish life by getting married.
By Thinking about Radhya, I rang the doorbell, the Radhya's mother opened the door, she could not recognize me, then I introduced myself to her and afterwards she recognized me.
When I Asked about Radhya, I came to know that 'she is psychiatrist in the hospital and nowadays her holidays are going on, so she is free else she is very busy person. ,
'In the talks, the aunt also told that Radhya does not want her to get married, so the family members were little worried about her and her devotion is also increasing day by day.
Hearing this, I was very happy from inside I don't know why ...., but I did not show it in front of the aunt. Our conversation was still going on in the meanwhile Radhya also came there.
She was looking more beautiful than before, there was a new charm on her face and a new spark in the eyes.
She recognized me as soon as she saw me, and then we talked here and there after a while, she took me into her room.
I asked her smiling there -
"I thought you must have changed, but you are still the same but now you have become a doctor too !! Oh! Wow ... congratulations dear doctor!!"
Hearing my words and seeing my brought gift, Radhya smiled and said - ."Have you ever seen fire giving up its heat? No Na.... !!"
After listening to her words, I said -"yuppie!! You are still the same my crazy lover…”
After saying this, I started laughing, she again told me that she became a doctor so that she could show the path to the people who had gone to wrong path, her motive is to told them the importance of the real world to the depressed people, and she also told that we can combine science and spirituality together and Can do a lot of things.
I was surprised to see her deep thinking and said to her -
"Hey Radhya !! You are really amazing ... You have spent your whole life in the name of others !!!"
" I am not Amazing , Amazing is Kanha ... he only sent me here for such a holy work." Radhya smiled and I said excitedly .
"Jai Ho Bakenbihari Ki !!" As soon as I said this, a sudden question came in my mind and then I asked her -"Okay tell me, have you fulfilled your dream of going to Vrindavan yet?"
She became sad after hearing my question and said
"Maybe the right time has not come. !".
Seeing her sad face , I don't know from where such a unique thought came in my mind, I said to her -
“I have come here with a leave of 1 month, why don't we all go to Vrindavan after finishing work here! !"
She was very happy to hear this and the after finishing the work here, we took the permission of everyone and with family went on the journey to Vrindavan Dham.
I wondered how Radhaya's family agreed so soon, then I thought maybe Krishna also wish same.
After reaching there, Radhya was as if blossomed, she was looking at the environment around her as if she had an old relationship with this place.
On the first day, we went to the nearby temple, then there at night was a presentation of Maharas because the next day Sharad Purnima was there, I was happy to hear this, but Radhya was very much happy.
As soon as the performance of Raaslila started , I don't know what happened to Radhya? She too joined the Raas there and closed her eyes and started dancing. Seeing her dancing, it seemed as if she too was part of Raas !! Seeing Radhya involved in Raas, the rest of the people too became engrossed in Krishna tune. Now seeing all I also became excited to join Raaslila ... I was about to joined suddenly my eyes goes on Radhya, I saw... she was in her own world , looking at her it seemed as if she is a gopi of Krishna and like someone is dancing With her..... I was just seeing her … her eyes were closed…her face had a divine charm....
As soon as the program was over, the
whole atmosphere was surrounded with the holy words of RadhaKrishna.
I ran to Radhya and brought her out of the crowd. Then I asked her "Radhya !! What had happened to you ?? Speak ??"
She did not say anything, just went away from there giving me a mysterious smile. I could not understand what has happened to my friend as soon as she arrived in Vrindavan, she was lost in a different world.
The next day we all had to go to the main temple of Banke Bihari.....

The next day we all had to go to the main temple of Banke Bihari.
We were all ready, but Radhya was very much adorned , black mascara in the eyes, little red bindi on the forehead, flowers on the hair… and a wonderful and alluring light on the face.
I just kept looking at her, I went to her and asked - "What is the matter !! You are looking very cute today, but why have you done so much makeup?"
Hearing my question she started smiling lightly and said "I am going to my shyam 's home ... so I am getting ready !! "
Her answer make me smile after that we went to the temple, including both of our family |
There was a wonderful view…. Radhe Radhe !! sound was echoing all around, there was an adorable smile on everyone's faces ... Tiredness was missing every devote was engertic , supernatural divine power was all around , that moment was for me unforgettable .... Tons of bells are sounding like heartbeat .. Vrindavan is truly amazing place and have a different kind of joy.
When we reached inside the temple, we saw that the idol of Kanha is in the curtain. I looked at Radhya, she was very happy .... , I said to her
"Look, your Krishna is hidden behind the curtain !!"
after Listening me she said "So what happened .. soon he will come back in front of us ..." Will go. "
Hearing this, I told her again-
" But he will hide again !! And here are the devotees, who comes to meet him from so far and your bakebihari is playing hide and seek with his devotees. Does he not even listen to his devotees? "
Radhya looked at me with a strange vision and then said - "Kanha will definitely fulfill this dream soon .... !!"
She went ahead, by saying this, I told her this all for teasing purpose, but on her face a strange feeling had emerged , she became Serious ... so , I followed her without saying anything...
Both of us were standing in front of the idol of BankeBihari, now it was our turn to see him . The curtain was still lying in front of Kanha and the song lyrics were playing in background was . "Jara Kanha mukhra dikhao apna ..." (please show the face Krishna)
The curtain also went away with the lyrics, and then we all started our own worship. Our family members stood behind both of us, Radhya and I were at the forefront.
I was praying and went lost in Kanha's divine eyes, looking at his lovely eyes, it seemed as if the whole world on one side and the lovely Kanha on one side.
I was lost in the divinity of Kanha that suddenly a noise came.....
" curtain is stuck !! curtain is stuck !! Remove your eyesight from Kanha ... otherwise Bakkenbihari will go again with his devotees ...!" ! "
Everyone had lost their attention from Kanha except Radhya, as if she had lost her senses in Krishna's eyes. I was thinking by looking at Radhya what she was saying to Krishna at that time.....
everyone said by making noise for radhya
" heyyy ...!! girl don't make eye contact for much time .... !! .... "
But she was not responding because she was Lost in her Kanha's dreams !!
As soon as a man moved his hand to shake her, quickly a gust of strong wind came inside the temple and nothing could be seen…
After that just the sound of the bell was Hearing very loud…
We were not able to open eyes because of dust.
This happened for about 5 minutes, then when the wind calmed down and I turned to Radhya, but Radhya was not there !!! , I looked back and forth but she was not there.
I asked Uncle Aunt where Radhya went, but They also did not know anything, then everyone started looking for Radhya, forgetting about the strong wind, they were looking for Radhya until I saw a flower at some distance from my feet.
That was same flower which Radhya had applied in her hair this morning.
I shouted and said
"This is the same flower that Radha had applied on her hair today !!!"
Hearing this, everyone became worried no one could understand where Radhya went, and what was happening there, everyone had looked around, but about Radhya no one had no idea.
Then Pandit ji suddenly said -
"I understand where she went !! She went with whom she had come to meet ... Bankebihari took her with her ... People take Banke Bihari with them but she went with Banke Bihari! !!"
Hearing Panditji's words, people started cheering there "Bakenbihari Ki jai".
But I and Radhya's family members could not understand that time ' we must be happy or sad !!'
Just one question kept coming in my mind again and again, "After introducing everyone to Krishna; Has she really gone to her Kanha !! ||"
